Annotation: This book is about the work of one of the strongest grandmasters in the world, the Hungarian chess player Lajos Portisch. In addition to the essay about Portisch traditional for this series and a selection of his best games, the book contains materials that illustrate L. Portisch’s contribution to the theory of openings and are of particular interest.
2. Max Euwe – “Max Euwe” . Very Rare Edition. Publisher: Physical education and sports. Pages: 246. 1979 year.
Annotation: Max Euwe – fifth world chess champion (1935-1937). The book tells about the life and work of the outstanding Dutch chess player, fifth world champion, former FIDE President Max Euwe. It contains the best games commented by M. Euwe. The central place is occupied by games from the 1935 World Championship match between M. Euwe and A. Alekhin. Foreword by S.Flora.
