The model was stitched on 36 ct. Gun Metal Linen by Weeks dye works using 1 strand of hand-dyed floss (WDW, GA, CC) over 2 threads of linen. Alternative fabric: Edinburgh Linen 3217/7026 by Zweigart.

The design was stitched with the following hand-dyed threads:

Weeks dye works – Broom Tree, Yukon Gold, Red Rocks, Adobe;

The Gentle art – Dried Thyme, Espresso Bean, Antique Lace;

Classic Colorworks – Caramel, Pine Needles.

A conversion to DMC has been provided in the key.

The sampler is stitched entirely in cross stitch and is suitable for use on Aida fabric (as well as linen and other evenweave fabrics).
