Wooden Soviet chess set 1950s-1960s model.

The knights and finials made of wood! Since the late of 1960s the knights (first black, later both colors) and kings/queens finials of this chess set had been producing of plastic. Most likely, this is the beginning of the sixties, maybe the very end of the 1950s. Until about the first half of the 1950s, such chess sets had been producing, as a rule, weighted, and slightly more elaborately carved. But those models are very rare now to find.

Chessmen are not weighted.

Weight of the chess set is 1.34 kg.

Board size: 40×40 cm.
King`s height is 10 cm.
Pawn`s height is 5.5 cm.

Damages: board has no clothing hooks, muzzle of white knight was broken and glued (seems the muzzle piece from another similar chess knight), see all the photos.
