Knitting pattern triangle mitered squares shawl

The shawl is knitted in modular knitting technique (Domino Knitting or Mitered Squares technique).

The shawl has a triangular shaped, it begins from the bottom corner. Every next square module is worked along the edge of the previous, it lets to create different geometric shapes – triangular, square or rectangular (shawl, cowl, scarf, stole, blanket or bedcover).

Finished measurements: wingspan 78.7’’ (200 cm), depth 35.4’’ (90 cm).
Square module measurements: approx. 5.1 x 5.1’’ (13 x 13 cm).

Materials: 100% wool, worsted, 218 yds/3.5 oz (200 m/100 g).
Total yardage: 872 yds (800 m).
MC (black yarn) yardage: 328 yds (300 m).
CC (gradient yarn) yardage: 545 yds (500 m).
