Moraine Lake is one of the most beautiful glacial lakes in the world. There is such a wonderful place in Banff National Park, located in Canada, called the Valley of the 10 Peaks and Lake Moraine.

Of course, the rocky mountains that form these peaks occupy vast expanses of land. However, the more attractive location of this part of the National Park in the vicinity of Lake Moraine. It was formed as a result of the melting of the glacial masses of the surrounding mountains.

Every year, the lake is fed by the meltwater of snow, as well as the constantly flowing stream of Larch Creek. Walter Wilcox discovered the lake in 1899. Later, in his memoirs, he said that the half-hour that he spent at the lake were the best moments of his life.

Lake Moraine is not very deep – only 14 meters and the total area is just over 0.5 km square. People who come here for the first time immediately notice the sight of a magnificent view.

The water of the lake has a dark blue hue, the cause of which is the bottom sediments contained once in the glacier. Therefore, the color of Lake Moraine resembles the sea. By the way, photos of the surface of the water surface rarely have the same shade! Hiking trails lead to the tops of the surrounding ten peaks, as well as to the surrounding lake. From the top, the lake, surrounded by ever-green wild coniferous forest, looks even more impressive.

SVG vector file
If you need a different size for the pattern, it’s easy to do because I put it in the SVG file.
Easily change the picture’s proportions, the thickness and color of the lines with one movement of the mouse, scale to the desired size and perform all these operations without losing the quality of the picture.
Any vector graphics program is suitable for working with SVG. Freeware is the Inkscape graphic editor.
