In this forest, the vertical lines of the trees create a rhythm reminiscent of a sleeping person’s breath. The space feels dense yet unstable -as if it exists only as long as one is looking at it.
In the foreground are violets, too soft and flesh-like to be mere plants. One of them defies the usual logic of form: rabbit ears sprout from its petals – a sign of vulnerability, wariness, and the transition between worlds.
The work explores the boundary of perception: that moment when reality is still recognizable but is already beginning to yield to sleep. Here, fragility becomes a language, and error – a way of seeing.
