Christmas moth Hand embroidery Stumpwork technique PDF

The moth is embroidered using stumpwork technique. The description is based on my knowledge of embroidery, and it may differ from traditional methods. I will show you how to embroider wings, how to process edges, and how to assemble a moth. If you have not used such technique before, you may have to practice a little. Parts are very small; it requires a lot of patience and diligence. I describe the whole process step-by-step, explaining it with a large number of photos.

All the wings keep their shape well thanks to the wire frame.

Moth brooch is very light and elegant. She creates the full impression that a real moth is sitting on your dress.
