Prohibited Items Policy
The Crealandia Marketplace is not a curated marketplace. However, for various reasons, we prohibit the sale of certain types of items.
This policy explains what is prohibited or restricted on the Crealandia and is part of our Terms of Use.
We strongly do not tolerate prohibited items, especially those that promote, support or glorify hatred, violence or illegal behaviour. Sellers who in our opinion violate this policy may be immediately suspended or their account may be terminated in accordance with our Terms of Use .
Generally, Crealandia will notify you when your content or account has been suspended or terminated, unless you have repeatedly violated our Terms and Conditions or we have legal or regulatory reasons that prevent us from notifying you.
When making policy decisions, we use different factors and sometimes come to conflicting conclusions. As a community, we value freedom of expression and tend to resolve issues with historical, artistic or educational value, but we recognise that such topics can provoke different interpretations and emotional responses. Art and history can be controversial and divisive. In some cases we as a community may not reach a consensus and this is normal.
To ensure clarity and understanding of our policy development process, we have included a rationale for our decisions and details of how they will be implemented, including some representative examples below of what is allowed on the Crealandia. We reserve the right to remove listings that we feel are not in the spirit of the Crealandia. Violation of this policy may result in the suspension and/or removal of the shop on Crealandia.
The following types of items are banned or restricted on the Crealandia:
- Alcohol, tobacco, drugs, drug paraphernalia and medicines.
Alcohol and drugs are banned on the Crealandia. These substances face serious legal restrictions and in many cases are considered controlled substances under applicable law. Our policy also applies to other substances that have intoxicating or medicinal effects or are claimed as such. Apart from possible legal restrictions, these substances are not in the spirit of the Crealandia.

Below are examples of products that cannot be sold on the Crealandia:
Alcohol.
Tobacco products, smoking products, e-cigarettes and e-cigarette liquids.
Drugs and certain herbal substances, including substances used for recreational and medicinal purposes, regardless of their legality.
Drug paraphernalia , including, for example: carbureted items; slides and/or slide elements; bongs and barbitters; vaporizers and components thereof.
Medical preparations, regulated medical devices and pharmaceutical preparations.
Limitations on the description of an alleged health benefit:
A medicinal product claim is a statement or suggestion that an item prevents, cures or treats a disease or illness. Medical product claims are subject to varying degrees of regulation. If you make a claim about the alleged health benefits of an item for sale on the Crealandia, we strongly recommend that you speak to a qualified expert about what regulations apply to you. It is your responsibility to know and comply with all laws and regulations that apply to the products you sell.
The Crealandia prohibits certain medical product claims based on our values, such as claims that could be misleading or pose an unreasonable risk to our community. The Crealandia may remove claims that we deem inappropriate, excessive or otherwise inappropriate for our marketplace. We also remove content that promotes prohibited medical claims, such as anti-vaccination material. If Crealandia receives proper notification from a legal authority, we may remove the item.

Empty alcohol bottles and products
- Animal products and human remains
Some products of animal origin are strictly regulated and prohibited on the Crealandia due to the risk of harm to living, domestic or endangered animals.
Below are examples of animal products that cannot be sold on the Crealandia:
Live animals.
Items made from the parts or skins of cats and dogs.
Ivory or ivory-producing animal bones, including tusks, elk tusk, fossilized bone and woolly mammoth tusk.
Items made from human remains or products of the human body, excluding teeth, nails and hair.
Examples of what is permitted:
Bones and horns of animals other than ivory
Items of leather
Textiles made from animal hair
- Dangerous goods: hazardous materials, recalled items and weapons.
For safety and legal reasons, we prohibit the sale of certain hazardous items on our market.
Dangerous materials
Due to the potential harm caused by hazardous materials, as well as the complex legal and delivery regulations associated with such materials, hazardous materials are prohibited on the Crealandia.
The following materials are not exhaustive, but are examples of prohibited hazardous materials:
Explosives (fireworks or sparklers)
Precursors of explosives
Flammable items
Gases
Radioactive material
Toxic substances (e.g. poisons)
Single or lithium ion batteries
Items that have been recalled by governments or manufacturers are banned from sale on the Crealandia.
Items that could pose a health or safety risk are banned, even if they have not been the subject of a recall. This may include, for example, items that pose a choking, electric shock or strangulation hazard. We rely on information from user reports and various government agencies to identify these items.
Weapons
Context matters when it comes to determining what is a weapon and what is not. When in doubt, it is safe to assume that we will not allow any item designed to be used as a weapon to cause harm. The following items are generally not allowed on the Crealandia:
Pistols, knives or other uncovered weapons, even if they are antique.
Examples of what is allowed:
Cooking knives or other knives used as tools
Letter cutters
Toy slingshots
Strike weapons and other harmless toy weapons (with some restrictions)
- Hate items: items that promote, support or glorify hatred.
The Crealandia does not allow items or listings that promote, support or glorify hatred of people or otherwise degrade people based on: race, ethnicity, national origin, religion, gender, gender identity, disability or sexual orientation (collectively “protected groups”). We also prohibit items or content that promote organisations or people with such views.
The following items are prohibited on the Crealandia:
Items that support or perpetuate current or historical hate groups, including propaganda or collectibles. Examples of hate groups include Nazi or neo-Nazi groups, Ku Klux Klan (KKK) groups, white supremacy advocacy groups, misogynist groups or groups that oppose gays, immigrants or Holocaust denial.
Elements containing racial slurs or derogatory terms against protected groups.
Examples of what is allowed:
Some items may contain symbols or terms associated with hate groups in a context unrelated to the group itself. We recognise that these items are the subject of many valid and often conflicting interpretations of their educational, historical and artistic value. Recognising that there can be no consensus on their value, and reserving the right to judge such items on a case-by-case basis, the following types of items are generally permitted on the Crealandia on a case-by-case basis:
Co-opted symbols such as swastikas, when used in a peaceful or religious context (often in Hinduism, Buddhism and Jainism). The item itself must have characteristics that clearly reflect its cultural or religious origin or purpose.
Items that use idiomatic expressions that include the word ‘nazi’, such as ‘nazi grammar’.
Material denouncing or ridiculing groups or historical figures that have a history of organised targeted violence against protected groups.
- Illegal items, material promoting illegal activity, and strictly regulated items
Illegal items, items promoting illegal activity and stolen items are not allowed on the Crealandia. Neither are certain items that are subject to complex legal regulations or registration systems. We require sellers to comply with all applicable laws regarding the items they list. Listings may not be available to users in regions where it is illegal to buy or sell an item.
Although not exhaustive, examples of items that may be subject to regulation include:
Plants and seeds
Baby products
Foodstuffs
Because Crealandia is a global company, it is important to comply with the laws of the markets in which you sell. What is legal in one country may be illegal in another. All forms of illegal activity are strictly prohibited. This includes, but is not limited to selling:
Unauthorized or counterfeit goods
Personal data
Strictly regulated items such as currency and real estate
Advertisements that facilitate or encourage illegal activity, such as:
- Impersonation
- Evasion of detection of illegal activities
- Fraudulent deception that misrepresents medical status or allows confidentiality to be breached.
The Crealandia prohibits:
– Unauthorised replicas or copies of items, we consider counterfeit or unauthorised goods goods that imitate genuine goods, in particular by using a brand name, logo or protected design without the consent of the brand owner.
Goods made from recycled materials, even if made from authentic materials, must not contain the brand name, logo or protected design without the owners’ permission. Examples of prohibited counterfeit or unauthorised goods include replica luxury and non-luxury goods such as handbags and branded clothing.
-Personal information cannot be sold, such as a bank database or mailing list. The sale of personal or government documents such as credit cards, identity cards and licences is also prohibited.
-Lottery tickets,
-Cryptocurrency mining machines,
-Real money,
-Shares, bonds and other securities. Handmade items containing any of these items in usable condition are also not allowed.
-Real Estate,
-Vehicles (e.g. cars, motorbikes, boats, travel trailers, etc.).
-Radar detectors, number plate covers and materials to simulate drug tests,
-Surveillance cameras or devices and lock pickers.
-Test results, inoculation certificates, other certificates, various passports.
We prohibit realistic items that identify the owner as an active law enforcement, military or government official.
- Internationally regulated items
The Crealandia provides a direct link between buyers and sellers worldwide. If you buy or sell from another country, or transact with someone abroad, you are responsible for complying with the laws and regulations of the destination country as well as local laws.

When buying and selling internationally, you must comply with local laws and be aware that other countries may have their own restrictions. You may not be allowed to export or import certain goods under international laws and regulations. Some transactions may require licences, permits or other documentation. If you have questions about how to comply with the law, we recommend you speak to a qualified professional.
When you use the Crealandia, you are also responsible for complying with economic sanctions and trade restrictions.
The Crealandia reserves the right to request additional information from sellers, disclose the country of origin of an item on the list, or take other steps to meet compliance obligations.
You should be aware that third-party payment processors, such as PayPal, may independently monitor transactions for sanctions compliance and may block certain transactions as part of their own compliance programs. The Crealandia has no authority or control over the independent decision-making of these vendors.
- Nudity and adult content
As a creative community, we tend to be pretty liberal about what we allow on the Crealandia. However, we do prohibit pornography, illegal or exploitative goods, and used intimate items. In addition, we allow, but place restrictions on adult content so that people who are offended by this type of material will not see it. If you sell adult content, we ask that you respect different sensitivities by properly labeling and marking your items.
The Crealandia prohibits merchandise that does not conform to our brand and values or is legally or otherwise restrictive. Images that sexualise minors are also prohibited, as well as images of bestiality, incest and non-consensual sex. Pornography of any kind is prohibited on the Crealandia, while adult content is restricted. While it can be difficult to determine exactly what constitutes pornography, it generally qualifies as such if it contains printed or visual material that explicitly describes or displays sexual acts, genitals or other erotic behaviour for the purpose of sexual arousal or stimulation.
We consider adult content to include depictions of human genitalia, sexual acts, profanity, sexual objects, images of violence and images of taxidermy. In deciding whether to consider this content as pornography, we consider the level of explicitness of such material.
Examples of what is allowed without restrictions:
Non-pornographic nude photographs and breast images
Non-pornographic depictions of buttocks
Abstract or cartoon images, within reasonable limits
- Elements of violence: Material that advocates, supports or glorifies violence.
In our Crealandia marketplace, we strive to make it safe for everyone. While violent content may be part of historical, educational, or artistic expression, we do not accept merchandise that advocates, supports, or glorifies acts of violence or harm to self or others, including threats of actual harm.
The following items are prohibited on the Crealandia:
Items that glorify human suffering or tragedy, including items dedicated to or glorifying serial killers.
Items that attempt to exploit natural disasters or human tragedies.
Items that encourage, glorify or glorify acts of violence against individuals or groups.
Items that encourage self-harm, starvation or other self-harm
Items that promote or support harmful misinformation
Examples of what is permitted:
Fictional literary or artistic works (e.g. zombies, vampires or other fictional works that tend to contain violence)
Items that have educational, historical or artistic value
Items that show support or attract the attention of those at risk of self-harm, including those with eating disorders
BDSM items
