Rare Collector’s Antique cast iron Kusa.  “Hunting dog. Setter”. Product year 1980s.

Author: Maine Pierre-Jules (1810 – 1879) is a French animal sculptor. He created sculptural groups in naturalistically accurate reproduction of the appearance of animals. His works were widely replicated in bronze, silver, spyatre, cast iron, and are in many major museums around the world.

Material: Cast Iron – Dutch Soot. Dimensions: Height – 4,92″ (12,5 cm.), Depth – 4,13″ (10,5 cm.), Width – 9,84″ (25 cm.), Weight – 7.94 lb. (3.6 kg.)

Note: In the photo, the glare of light! Condition: corresponds to age and grade. Without restorations. Antique. Native factory painting. Noble patina. Nevertheless, there are “traces” of time: in places loss of paint and shine, scratches. There is a manufacturer’s stamp on the back of the pedestal, but due to the “traces” of time, it is hardly visible. Look carefully at the photo as these form part of the description!
