The hand emroidered pendant on a beaded necklace “Arctic Adventure”. It is a piece of wearable art which depicts a sunset scene in Troms og Finnmark, the region in Northern Norway. Most of the miniature artwork is created with mouline threads and the sky is made out of glass beads. The necklace is made of gemstones and a gold-plated lock.
Piece description
- Round pendant with hand embroidered landscape glued on a metal (gold) base, put on a beaded necklace
- Size: 1.1×1.1 inch (2.8×2.8 cm)
- Material of base: jewelry alloy (contains brass), color – gold
- Materials of embroidery: embroidery floss (mouline) threads, glass beads, cotton fabric
- Comes with a 16.5 inch (42 cm) necklace + 5 cm extension
- Materials of necklace: reshwater pearls, turquoise howlite, crystals, nacre beads, gold plated lock, inserts and 5 cm extension
The piece is made in a smoke-free home. A cat is living in the house with me, but I make sure no pet hair gets into my works or packaging.
As this work is an art piece, it should be handled carefully to ensure its long lifetime.
