Set of hand embroidered butterflies Tutorials PDF

The butterflies is embroidered using stumpwork technique. The description is based on my knowledge of embroidery, and it may differ from traditional methods. I will show you how to embroider wings, how to process edges, and how to assemble a butterfly. If you have not used such technique before, you may have to practice a little. Parts are very small; it requires a lot of patience and diligence. I describe the whole process step-by-step, explaining it with a large number of photos.

The right side of the butterfly is embroidered with mouline thread. All the wings move independently of each other and keep their shape well thanks to the wire frame.

The wrong side is decorated with delicate lace.

Brooch is very light and elegant. She creates the full impression that a real butterfly is sitting on your dress.

Step by step, you will learn the whole process of creating a butterfly. It is more suitable for reading on a computer or tablet screen than for printing. You will need a PDF reader (Eg. Adobe Reader) to open and view the file.
