♥ “Home Sampler” is a primitive cross stitch pattern by The Bluebird Needleworks. This chart is inspired by antique embroidery samplers and a beautiful poem of a young American poet Margaret Davidson (she wrote it when she was 9 in 1832).
♥ Sizes: 175×217 stitches; 32 х 39.5 cm (28 ct), 28 х 34.5 cm (32 ct), 25 х 31 cm (36 ct), 22.5 x 27.5 cm (40 ct).
♥ Model on the front page is stitched on 40 ct. Weeks Dye Works linen (color Confederate Gray) using 1 strand of hand dyed floss over 2 linen threads. Alternative colors of fabric – Zweigart 323 Summer Khaki, 3009 Vintage Country Mocha. You may stitch the design on those fabric count that is more comfortable for you.
♥ Stitches: full crosses, one-over-one stitches. So it is not recommend to stitch this sampler on Aida fabric.
♥ Threads: 9 colors (WDW, GAST, CC) + conversion into DMC.
