Jack Mosher Hannya Masks – by Horimouja. Hannya are masks that Japanese actors of the Ho – “Ho” theater traditionally use in their performances. All productions taking place in this theater are traditional, the plots of the performances originate from the 14th century. Masks are used to convey the mood of various characters and there are about 80 masks in just one performance.
