The Magnificent Album is dedicated to the work of Karl Pavlovich Bryullov (1799-1852) – a remarkable Russian artist, painter, muralist, watercolorist, draftsman, representative of academicism. Bryullov was a member of the Milan and Parma academies, the Academy of St. Luke in Rome, a professor at the St. Petersburg and Florence academies of arts, an honorary free accomplice of the Paris Academy of Arts.
