This model was stitched on 40 ct Newcastle Cream linen using 1 strand over 1 threads of linen.
I recommend to stitch it using 1 strand over 2 threads of linen with the following hand-dyed and DMC threads:
DMC – 3772, White, 3774, 927, 3046, 3863, 208, 3790, 3779, 801;
Weeks dye works – Sanguine, Sage;
Classic Colorworks – Chai.
A DMC conversion is provided in the chart.
The sampler is stitched entirely in cross stitch and is suitable for use on Aida fabric (as well as linen and other evenweave fabrics).
