The Predator Inspired Mechanized Mask ready to print 3D model

This is my first mechanized mask (version 2.6).
The mechanism doesn’t contain electronic components.

3D printing settings

All the parts are ready to print, split and placed on a bed the most optimal way.

It’s intended to be printed out of PETG (otherwise the mechanism might not work because of different mechanical properties of other materials).

Recommended printing settings:
Layer height: 0.2mm
Line width: 0.4mm
Wall line count: 3
Z seam position: at the top right corner
Top layers: 3
Bottom layers: 2
Infill density: 20-35%
Support generation: off
Bridges: on

You need at least 170x145x115mm build volume to print the model.

To assemble the mask you’ll also need:
M4 screws with countersunk head, 16 mm in length, 4 pieces;
M4 nuts with nylon ring, 4 pieces;
neodymium magnets, 10×1.5mm, 26 pieces (or 10 pcs of 10x3mm and 2 pcs of 10x5mm, in this case use files from “For_3&5mm_magnets” folder)
nylon cord, 0.5-0.8mm in diameter, 3 meters;
nylon strap 2cm in width, 1m;
self-adhesive EVA foam, 4mm thick, at least 2x10cm piece (such foam is used for handmade cards, shapes and letters, if you can’t get 4 mm thick sheet try to find 2 mm thick foam and use 2 layers of it bonded by hot glue);
fishing line 0,3-0,4mm in diameter, 0.5m (UPD: now you can use a 3D printed line, the file is in the pack, just straighten it after printing, fold in half and use the same way as fishing line loop);
Velcro strip, 2cm wide, 0.2m;
black elastic fabric (the most simple solution is a couple of socks), 8x6cm piece.

To be sure the mask will fit your head, first measure your head width (above ears), then in accordance with this value use following scale percent for 3D printing (choose the nearest bigger value):
13.5cm – 90%
14cm – 93.34%
14.5cm – 96.67%
15cm – 100%
15.5cm – 103.34%
16cm – 106.67%
