Top down cable yoke women pullover crochet pattern – pullover Susanna

I’m so excited to share with you my new crochet project. It’s my Cable Yoke Pullover. I’m absolutely in love with the result. I love the shape and the fit. I saw many knitted cable yoke sweaters and desired very, very much to make the crocheted one. And I did it!

Cables are a beautiful way to add texture and interest to your projects, they are lift the look of a rather simple design with just a few stitches. The possibilities of crochet cables are endless. The cable stitch is a very effective crochet stitch casual but classic. If you’re not familiar with crocheting cables, this pattern is a great place to start.

With a seamless construction and cable stitches pattern, this double colored top down crochet pullover is the perfect piece to add to your handmade wardrobe. The hightlight of this pullover is a beautiful cable panel across the yoke. The pullover is worked top down from the neckline until the cable panel, then the cable panel is worked in direction back and forth joining to the yoke on one side as you go, the body and the sleeves are worked top down in the round. The pattern is written in American crochet terms and includes detailed instructions with a lot of photos in progress and diagrams.

Sizes: M, L, X, 1X and 2X.

Yarn: Sport (12 wpi) or Fine (5 ply) 60% cotton 40% acrylic yarn (1.75 oz/181 yds (165m)/ 50 g. per ball): 7 (8, 9, 10, 11) balls – milky; 3 (4, 4, 5, 5) balls – beige.

Hooks: size E/4 (3,5 mm) hook.

Finished measurements:

• Width: 38,8” (42”; 42,8”; 44,4”; 46”) /97 (105; 107; 111; 115) cm;

• Length: 24,8” (26”; 26”; 26,8”; 26,8”) / 62 (65; 65; 67; 67) cm;

• Sleeves: 16”/ 40 cm (length from the yoke to the cuff) – for all sizes.
