Vintage 1970s
Open-air shell for summer evenings has hairpin lace motif circling
the hem and yoke. Motifs, easy to make on an adjustable hairpin
lace loom, are formed into eight-petal flowers, edged in crochet, and
joined with airy connecting bars. Front and back of blouse, both
made the same, are worked in a simple shell pattern. Of fluffy mahair.
