Vintage Glass Handmade Decanter for Wine. Glass Decanter “Colored Cockerel”. Made in USSR. 1986.

* Blue sulphide-zinc glass is made under Murano glass. * Guta technique. Corrugation. Nalepa. * Dimensions: Height – 28 cm. (11,02″), Depth – 14 cm. (5,51″), Width – 14 cm. (5,51″) * Not used before

Guta – from the Latin gutta (drop). Gunt work – the method of forming products with a set of specific hand-held techniques for processing hot glass: blow molding , threads, ribbons, etc. In this case, the entire cycle of operations is performed directly near the glass melting furnace.

Note: In the photo, the glare of light! Condition: Corresponds to age and grade. Vintage condition. Without restorations. Nevertheless there are “traces”of time. But this item is mesmerizing with its history, vintage and spirit of the times. Look carefully at the photo as these form part of the description!
