Annotation:  The book-album was published for the 100th anniversary of the birth of V. I. Lenin. The first volume includes 343 photographs. They brought to our days such characteristic gestures, Lenin’s movements, his expressive lively eyes. It is these lifetime documentary photographs and filming that are the most important source of acquaintance with the portrait image of Vladimir Ilyich. Beginning in January 1918, we see Lenin at a meeting of the Council of People’s Commissars and among the employees of the government apparatus, in the working atmosphere of an office in the Kremlin and hurrying to a meeting of the Congress of Soviets, at the parade of Red Army units and in rare hours of rest in the circle of relatives and friends. All the photographs of V. I. Lenin, reflecting the unique era of the first years of the revolution, are of great interest.
