When I make my jewelry, I, first of all think about the method of attaching the stone. And only then I start designing and creating beautiful weavings around the stone. This is especially true for the cabochons without holes. Today in my Wire wrapping pendant tutorial I will tell you about one of the ways of attaching a stone without a hole.
We will mount the cabochon on a copper plate and then decorate the pendant with weavings of copper wire.
To create a pendant, we will need the following materials:
Copper sheet approximately 0.5 mm thick. Natural copper wire thickness of 1 mm and 0.4 mm. I also took a 30 x 20 mm stone cabochon.
Tools for creating a pendant with a stone:
Paper, pencil, glue
Metal cutting scissors
Needle files and sanding paper
Thin drill bits for metal
Small set of pliers for working with wire
Metal polishing tool
