Annotation: The book tells about the life and creative path of the outstanding Polish chess player, one of the main contenders for the chess crown in the years preceding the First World War, A. Rubinshtein. Rubinstein made a significant contribution to the development of chess theory. The essay about Rubinstein was written by the famous chess journalist V. Murakhveri. Comments on games and articles “Star Mosaic” and “Rubinstein and Chess Theory” belong to Grandmaster Y. Razuvaev. The book also includes those few games that A. Rubinstein himself commented on.

Annotation: The book by international grandmaster E. Gufeld and master E. Lazarev tells about the sports and creative path of the three-time champion of the USSR Leonid Stein.
