I started to create custom sculpture by accident, and eventually it became my full-time trade. With years of experience under my belt I am dedicated to the creation of unique, beautiful and bold home decor pieces.

I create custom busts from the photo. To order a bust, you need to send me a few photos of a person in a good quality, preferably taken from the different angles. (the more pictures I receive from you the better)

TECHNOLOGY

All my products are hand-made from start to finish. The multi-step process that I use implies a lot of meticulous manual work.

Making the bust starts with studying the model. I try to study as much pictures made from the different angles as possible.
I proceed with sketching out the future bust.

When I feel like I got a grasp of the person’s image, mood, facial expression, I start sculpting the bust from clay.
Modeling is the most difficult and time-consuming stage of work.

When the model is done, I begin molding. Molding is a crucial step, because the quality of future casting depends on it, that’s why I use only the high-quality liquid silicon to produce my molds.

When the silicon mold is ready, I detach it from the clay model, and pour liquid plaster or plastic into it.

Casting and drying the bust takes some more days.

Finally, if the bust should be painted, I coat the sculpture with acrylic primer and hand-paint it with acrylic paints.

SIZE AND WEIGHT

I prefer to make busts of the medium size.
I find this format convenient and beneficial for my clients, because the bust turns out to be not too big to take the space over, but big enough to draw the attention.
