Folded Brim Hat Knitting Pattern Slouchy shaped 3 sizes

The Wintery Hat knitting pattern with fold over brim is worked bottom up in a 2×2 ribbing (k2,p2) with a small cable stitch pattern to the over brim. Slouchy shaped hat beanie. Knitted hat is a perfect and versatile accessory for cold fall or winter days.

SIZES (S-M-L):

1) S – small size, head circumference 20.5-21’’ (52-54 cm).

2) M – middle size, head circumference 22-23’’ (56-58 cm).

3) L – large size, head circumference 23.65-24.5’’ (60-62 cm).

The total height of the hat is 12.6-13.38-14.17 ‘’ (32-34-36 cm) after blocking.

YARN:

• 2 skeins Merino Uno by Lana Grossa, 100% Merino, 137 yds /1.76 oz (125 m/50 gr) or Super Soft by Lana Gatto, DK, 100% Merino, 137 yds /1.76 oz (125 m/50 gr).
• You can use any 11 wpi DK weight yarn. It’s not necessary to use only natural fiber yarn for this project. You can also use blends (wool blends, alpaca blends, etc.).

Final yardage depends on the chosen size: 219.2 – 287.7 – 315.1 yds (200 – 263 – 288 m).

NEEDLES: 16’’ (40 cm) US 6 (4 mm) circular needle and needles for small circumference at crown (set of dpns).
