It`s a FREE lace shawl knitting pattern: Miss October Shawl.

This is a crescent style shawl with a wide lace edging, that is worked top down in one piece.  The body of the shawl is worked in a simple, repeating lace pattern stitch, and the border – in a very beautiful lace pattern stitch.

NOTES:

  • Thus you will need about 3,5 – 5,4 oz (100-150 gr) of fingering weight yarn with the most natural fiber content.
  • Knitting skills required: reading charts, basic lace knowledge, blocking lace shawls.

  • Yarn: Luster Wool by Vita, Fingering, 100% Wool, 368 yards (336 meters) / 100 grams.

  • Needles: US6 (4,0 mm) 40 inch (100 cm) circular needles.
