Materials Required:
Child’s Knee Length Cable Socks
Size 8 (small), Size 9 (medium), Size 10 (large)
3 balls Sockyarn 3 ply (1 oz. ball) for small & medium sizes
4 balls Sockyarn 3 ply (1 oz. ball) for large size
1 set sock needles each No. 1 and No. 2
Elastic for Cuff
1 card Nylon for heel and toe reinforcement
GAUGE: 8 ½ sts. = 1 inch
Knee Socks
Sizes 8 ½ – 10 ½
3 (4) balls Sock yarn (1 oz. ball)
1 set sock needles each No. 1 and No. 2
1 card Nylon for heel and toe reinforcement
GAUGE: 8 sts. = 1 inch
Knee Length Cable Socks
Sizes 9 to 11 ½
3 balls Sport yarn preshrunk (2 oz. ball)
1 set sock needles each No. 1 and No. 2
1 card Nylon for heel and toe reinforcement
GAUGE: 7 sts. = 1 inch
The child’s socks, knee length cable Socks size can be adapted if you want to make it smaller or larger.
Make the pattern larger or smaller by changing the type of yarn and needles.
