The Marilyn Bralette is a practical design that does not use wire for support. This bra provides great support and shape through its construction. The cup shapes the breasts with a supportive panel – a vertical side panel sewn along the arm edge, this helps push the breast tissue forward to create a flattering look and the side boning for the extra support.

Modify the look of this bra with different fabrics if they stretch and recover well. You can use stretch lace for a touch of grace or a special occasion, solid color Lycra for everyday wear and cotton jersey with a fun print. This bra is perfect for everyday wear.

FABRIC SUGGESTIONS: For cups, side panel and cradle

Use a medium to heavy weight fabric. Duoplex®, Simplex®, cotton jersey, bra tulle, stretch lace (used in conjunction with a stabilizer), stretch mesh (used in conjunction with a stabilizer), rigid (non-stretch) lace, silk, satin and charmeuse are good choices.

For back bands: Use a medium to heavy weight fabric with excellent elasticity and shape recovery. Powernet, microfiber tricot, stretch mesh, stretch satin, stretch lace and cotton and other jerseys with spandex (Lycra®) are good choices.

For lining (Stabilizer): Use a lightweight, rigid, sheer and non-stretch fine nylon net. Nylon 20-denier fabric or a rigid mesh are good choices.
