The Matthew sweatpants are a comfortable, relaxed fit and tapered legs with ribbed hems. They feature an elasticated waistband and side pockets.
Sizes of a pattern of men’s sweatpants available: XS-S-M-L-XL-2XL
Suggested fabrics:
Use a medium-weight (300-370 ms), minimal stretch knit fabrics with 15 percent to 25 percent stretch. The fabric may contents 3 to 8 percent spandex (Lycra) or elastane, then the fabric will have better stretch and recovery. French terry, sweatshirt fleece are good choices
Lining fabric for pockets: cotton jersey.
For cuff: rib fabric
Supplies:
- Matching color threads
- Two 3/8 inch (1 cm) (inside diameter) grommets/eyelets with the corresponding tool for installation.
- 2 piece of 1 x 1 inch (2.5 x 2.5–cm) lightweight woven or weft insertion fusible interfacing
- ¼-inch (6 mm)-wide drawstring cord or ribbon as long as your waist, plus 20 inches (50 cm).
