“Lace Petals” Hat is worked bottom up, you start working in the ribbing 2 x 2 and then in a lace leaf stitch pattern. It’s a great accessory for late fall or winter, that will remind you of summer time with its beautiful leave stitch pattern.

- The hat is seamless and worked in the round.
- The pattern includes 2 sizes.
- Skill level: Intermediate, advanced beginner.
- The pattern includes both written instructions and charts.
- Skills: basic knitting skills (knit, purl, ssk, k2tog, p2tog, yo, working in the round), reading charts and working with written instructions.
SIZES M (L):
1) M – middle size, head circumference 21.25-22’’ (54-56 cm).
2) L – large size, head circumference 23-23.5’’ (58-60 cm).
The height of the hat is 9-9.75’’ (23-25 cm) after blocking.
YARN:
- 2 skeins of Lima Uni Drops (65% wool, 35% alpaca), DK.
- You can use any DK or Worsted weight yarn.
- Yardage depends on the chosen size of the hat: 130.8-163.5 yds (120-150 m).
NEEDLES: 16’’ (40 cm) US 4 (3.5 mm), US 7 (4.5 mm) circular needle and needles for small circumference at crown (set of dpns).
