“Zahara” shawl knitting pattern will help you to make the romantic lacy accessory. It`s a triangular shawl with traditional lace stitch patterns. This shawl can be used as scarf, beach pareo or summer cover up. The lace shawl is very elegant and easy to knit.

Notes:
- This is a classic triangular shawl worked in one piece top down.
- There are 176 rows in the sample, but the size of the shawl is easily adjustable.
- Gauge is not crucial for this project.
- Skill level: Advanced-beginner, Intermediate.
- Skills: basic knitting skills (knit, purl, ssk, k2tog, sk2p, yo), reading charts, blocking lace shawls.

For knitting the shawl you will need:
- You will need 80-100 gr of Lace (or 100-130 gr Fingering) weight yarn with the most natural fiber content such as wool, merino wool, linen, or blends (alpaca with silk, merino wool with silk, etc.).
- Needles: US 6 (4.0 mm).
- Notions: 2 markers, row counter (optional), blocking pins, crochet hook (optional).
Yardage: 650 yds (594 m).
Finished measurements (after blocking): 78.7’’ (200) cm) x 37.4’’ (95 cm).
